Summertime is finally here and what a weekend did we have. We kicked things off by grilling out on Friday night. On Saturday we went to bratfest and it looks like this year's bratfest is on pace to break the world record of brats consumed in one weekend and we helped by eating 6 of those brats. Check it out at www.bratfest.com. We got to ride on the dragon rollercoaster and we even got to go on the ginormous gondola. Then we went to Grandma Jackie's upnorth on a a spur of the moment and we talked my mom into having a sleepover at Grandma Jackie's. Dad went to Chicago to see the Chicago Blackhawks play, only to see them get creamed! Today we just rested and watched movies and played outside. What a fun weekend!
A couple of weeks ago we had made a list of all the things we wanted to do this summer. I'll share the list with you and it looks like we are off to a great start.
1. Picnic at the beach
2. Baseball game - Brewers
3. Baseball game - Mallards
4. Go to Packer Stadium
5. Swimming at the mushroom pool
6. Go to Noah's Ark
7. Go Bowling
8. Play at Auntie Jenny's Farm.
9. See Fireworks
10. Go to Bratfest (completed on 5/22/09)
11. Grill out
12. Dragon Rollercoaster (completed on 5/22/09)
13. Play outside
14. Ride Bikes
15. Plant a garden
16. Go to the Zoo
17. Play tennis
18. Play baseball on the baseball field
19. Pick strawberries
20. Pick apples
We are going to have a busy summer!
