I know this post might be a little late but none-the-less its worth posting. This is the first year that I actively participated in trick or treating! I'm so glad that mom and I practiced before the big day! I was kind of shy at the first house. Dad came up to the house with me, dad rang the doorbell, dad said trick or treat, but I got the candy! At the next house, I asked dad to come with but I did all of the work and I softly said "Trick or Treat, Please." More candy. Now I was getting the hang of things. I figured then if I ran faster to the next house, said Trick or Treat louder, I would get more candy! I was right. We covered so many houses and so many of the moms and dads that were passing out candy were very impressed with my Trick or Treat that I DID get more candy! We even got a king size snickers bar at one house. Dad said I could have one piece of candy before dinner, guess which one I picked! You got it! Who needs dinner when you can have a king size snickers bar! Any way, we had a wonderful time and I'm was so happy with my costume and all of the candy. I can't wait for trick or treat next year.
Sounds like you are a super good trick or treater! That is a very cool James costume that you had!
